Brazilian pork exports saw a 10% increase in volume and a 25.4% increase in revenue in February compared to the same month in 2022, according to the Associação Brasileira de Proteína Animal (ABPA). The first two months of 2023 saw a 14.9% increase in pork sales and a 28.9% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2022. China is the largest importer of Brazilian pork, followed by Hong Kong and Chile. ABPA anticipates a more than 10% increase in exports throughout 2023, fueled by recent market openings and resumed pork sales to China.
