Russia plans to donate 200 thousand tons of wheat to six African countries by the end of 2023, including Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, Mali, Somalia, Central African Republic, and Eritrea. The director of the second department of the CIS countries at the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexey Polishchuk, emphasized Russia's responsible approach in fulfilling obligations under commercial contracts and humanitarian actions. Another 200 thousand tons of wheat are planned to be donated to the same six African countries by the end of this year.
