Japan offers a strategic opportunity to Peruvian table grape exporters

(Agraria.pe) Recently, the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) reported that in the 2024-2025 campaign, the country exported 562,093 tons, consolidating Peru's position as the world leader in table grape exports for the second consecutive year. According to an analysis prepared by Fluctuante, the fruit's success lies in its high quality, variety diversity, and growing demand for table grapes around the world. Added to this is the country's strategic regions for the production and marketing of the fruit, including Ica, Piura, and Lambayeque, which have enabled a strong presence. The fruit reaches 44 markets and is primarily targeted at North America, which accounts for 61% of sales, followed by Europe with 24% and Asia with 9%.
