REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (Japfa) together with Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) inaugurated a closed house teaching farm in Kecamatan Pattallassang, Kabupaten Gowa, South Sulawesi, on Tuesday (16/12/2025). This facility is prepared as a modern livestock learning and research space based on practical practices. The teaching farm was built through a strategic collaboration between Japfa and Unhas with a total investment of around Rp3 billion. The facility stands on 1,500 square meters of land with a capacity of more than 20,000 chickens. This cooperation is a follow-up to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in mid-2024. The collaboration is expected to strengthen industry and academic synergy in developing a more efficient and sustainable livestock ecosystem.
