Jeollabuk-do Province stated on the 15th that it plans to disburse the recovery funds to 3,684 farms that suffered crop damage during the autumnal monsoon rains in September and October by the end of December. The cumulative precipitation in the province from September to October was 621.3 mm, about five times the average annual precipitation (128.0 mm). As a result, the total area of crop damage reached 4,313 hectares, with the main affected crops being soybeans on 3,770 hectares, radishes on 240 hectares, and napa cabbage on 303 hectares. Jeollabuk-do Province conducted an on-site investigation immediately after the damage occurred.
