Jerzy Wierzbicki, president of the Polish Association of Meat Cattle Producers, believes that Polish beef will have a place in the market in the next 10 years. He believes that lab-grown 'beef' will be a product for less demanding consumers, while traditional beef will be sustainable and of high quality. Wierzbicki also emphasized the importance of incentives in the National Strategic Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in live cattle production. He also stated that beef marked with the 'Polish Product' mark could be the country's flagship product if it is of high quality and the price paid to farmers is fair.
