Jon Fernández de Barrena, new president of Nomad Foods for Southern Europe

Frozen food company Nomad Foods, responsible for brands such as La Cocinera and Findus, is strengthening its leadership with the appointment of two new presidents, who will join the executive team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Brisby. Specifically, Jon Fernández de Barrena will join the company on April 13 as president for Southern Europe. In this new role, he will be responsible for managing Nomad Foods' business in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Adriatic region. The executive comes from Alvinesa Natural Ingredients, where he has served as CEO since July 2023. The company has also announced its intention to appoint a president to lead the Central Europe region.
