Karelia's garden berry harvest has seen a significant increase of 15% by the end of 2024, with the regional government reporting a total collection of approximately 4 thousand tons of black currants, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. This surge is attributed to favorable agroclimatic conditions, marking a notable improvement from the previous year. Additionally, the region has also experienced growth in other agricultural sectors, including a 12% increase in the production of various cattle feed and a 3% increase in potato harvest, reaching 3.5 thousand tons.
