In January-February this year, Kazakhstan exported 1.3 million tons of wheat and meslin to other countries. In total, they were sold for $370.1 million. The volumes of supplies in physical terms increased by 0.3%, while in monetary terms they decreased by 0.1%. Kazakh exporters supplied 930.8 thousand tons of wheat to the CIS countries (+18.5%), and other countries – 338.4 thousand tons (-29.4%). Among the CIS countries, Uzbekistan (624.7 thsd tonnes), Tajikistan (125.8 thsd tonnes), and Turkmenistan (103.8 thsd tonnes) were the leaders in purchases of domestic grain. Afghanistan received 159.3 thousand tons, Italy – 104.7 thousand tons, and Turkey – 25.7 thousand tons.
