Kimpo's representative agricultural specialty, 'Kimpo Geum rice,' makes its first export to Europe and Central Asia.

Kimpo City's representative agricultural specialty, "Kimpo Golden Rice," is making its debut in the European and Central Asian markets. Kimpo City and the Sinpo Agricultural Cooperative announced that they will export 47 tons of 2025 Kimpo Golden Rice (variety Chamdreum) to Europe and Kazakhstan in two shipments during December. Kimpo Golden Rice was selected as a co-branded "K-RICE" by the Agricultural Cooperatives in 2015 and has since been exported, starting with Taiwan.
