Korea Duck Association Receives Commendation from Ministry of Agriculture and Food for Outstanding Public Officials

The Korea Duck Association (Chairman Lee Chang-ho) announced that it awarded outstanding civil servant commendations to four officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs on the 19th. These commendations were awarded in recognition of their contributions to the sustainable development of livestock and duck industries and policy support. The recipients were Lee Byung-yong, deputy director of avian influenza prevention; Kang Jung-woo, senior staff of disease prevention policy; Kim Ju-young, senior staff of livestock management; and Lee Yong-ho, senior staff of livestock policy. They were evaluated as having played key roles in policies such as improving duck farm quarantine systems, early compensation for farms, duck industry stabilization, and promoting quarantine-friendly livestock facilities.
