From March 28 to 31, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of South Korea has taken significant steps to enhance the export of Korean beef to Hong Kong, a key market representing 70% of its exports. Through strategic partnerships with local entities such as the Consulate General and the Cultural Center in Hong Kong, South Korea aims to promote its high-quality beef by incorporating it into hotel restaurant menus, highlighting it at Korean cultural events with the theme ‘Give culture to Korean beef’, and increasing its availability in local dining establishments. These initiatives are part of a larger effort to capitalize on the Korean Wave, aiming to boost Korean beef exports across Asia and ensure the stability of domestic beef farms.
