Turkey: Kurdish will develop with super fruit aronia

Aronia fruit seedlings, which are consumed by Indians for healing purposes and defined as "super fruit" due to their positive effects on health, were distributed to producers in Kürtün district of Gümüşhane. Aronia fruit, which is native to North America and is known to renew cells and strengthen the body's immune system thanks to the minerals and vitamins it contains, was distributed to 60 producers on 71 decares of land in 20 villages in Kürtün, when it was successful after trial production. Saplings and materials were distributed to producers within the scope of the "Forest Villages Grow Aronia" project, prepared by the Trabzon Regional Directorate of Forestry upon the request of the Kurdish Chamber of Agriculture and supported by the Eastern Black Sea Project Regional Development Administration (DOKAP).
