The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia signed a protocol on mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food safety, and the development of rural territories. The document, which is based on the Memorandum of Understanding previously concluded between the countries, was signed by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine Denys Bashlyk and State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia Girts Krumins.
