The Korea Pork Producers Association held its 57th Extraordinary General Meeting of Delegates at the 5th floor of the Daejeon BMK Convention Hall on the 14th, and after conducting the presidential election, candidate Lee Ki-hong, marked with symbol number 2, was elected as the 21st president of the association, securing 76 votes out of the 210 cast by the total 216 delegates. In this election, candidate Koo Kyung-bon, marked with symbol number 1, received 75 votes, and candidate Han Dong-yoon, marked with symbol number 3, received 59 votes. The term of the elected Lee Ki-hong will be for four years, starting from next month 1st until October 31, 2029.
