Live hog price today in the North Specifically, localities such as Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, live hog prices are at 52,000 - 53,000 VND/kg. In Yen Bai, Lao Cai, and Tuyen Quang provinces, the purchase price is lower than VND 51,000/kg. Thus, the price of live hog today in the North is fluctuating in the range of 51,000 - 53,000 VND/kg. Mr. Nguyen Van Dong's family, Am Ngan village, An Duong commune, Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province are raising 10 sows and 70 meat pigs weighing from 70 to 120 kg. According to Mr. Dong, the price of live pigs is very low, but the price of animal feed is still high, about 350,000 VND/bag of bran (an increase of 40,000 VND/bag compared to the beginning of the year).
