The Department of Fisheries in Thailand has allocated 500 million baht from the Farmers Aid Fund to support 1,000 shrimp farmers. The loan will be interest-free and each farmer will receive 500,000 baht. However, the Thai Shrimp Farmers Network Association disagreed with a resolution requiring farmers to submit credit bureau information and refused to certify the minutes of the meeting. They are advocating for alternative conditions to access the Farmers' Aid Fund, aiming to provide more funding opportunities for farmers in the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2022.
