Losses of one million zlotys after the corn dryer fire

Over 20 hours in total were spent by firefighters in actions related to the corn dryer fire. The losses are enormous. The District Command of the State Fire Service in Wysokie Mazowieckie (Podlaskie Voivodeship) received a report early on last Friday (November 7) about a fire in a corn dryer in the village of Kostry-Noski. "Upon arrival at the scene, smoke was observed coming from the dryer, which was approximately 25 meters high. In the first phase of the operation, the firefighters' actions involved supplying water currents to the inside of the structure. Due to the difficult access to the places where the grain was burning, the firefighters cut openings in the structure to extinguish the fire more effectively," states the report from the Wysokie Mazowieckie District Command of the State Fire Service.
