(NAP) Representatives of Maizar, along with their counterparts from the corn chains of Brazil and the United States with which they form the international alliance Maizall, completed last week a strategic mission through Spain and Italy, including the FAO headquarters in Rome, where they explained the advances of corn in the world and debated on the agricultural policy of the European Union (EU) and its impact on global food security. The three countries that are part of Maizall are responsible for 50% of global corn production and 70% of global exports.
