The increase in shipments compared to July is due to the beginning of shipments to the US, which despite having started at a slow pace, has already allowed better performance compared to July. The quality of mangoes from the São Francisco Valley (PE/BA) also improved, benefiting shipments. However, from January to August this year, shipments totaled just 91,300 tonnes, 19% lower than in the same period in 2021, when exports reached just over 112,400 tonnes.
