Mapa announces new executive secretary

On Thursday (9), the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) informed that Cleber Oliveira Soares was appointed executive secretary of Mapa and will join Minister André de Paula's team in coordinating and executing public policies aimed at the agribusiness sector. Soares had already been acting in the ministry's structure as deputy executive secretary since 2023 and has experience in public administration and in the area of innovation applied to agribusiness. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, he holds a master's degree in Veterinary Parasitology and a doctorate in Veterinary Sciences from the same institution, with an academic trajectory focused on research and scientific development.
