Mato Grosso in Brazil has 406 properties that are able to export to the European Union

Mato Grosso has 406 properties with traced cattle and ready for export to more demanding countries, such as the members of the European Union (EU). The Agricultural Defense Institute of Mato Grosso (Indea/MT) points out, in a note, that the State has the largest herd tracked within the Brazilian System of Individual Identification of Cattle and Buffaloes (Sisbov), of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. “In Brazil, there are 1,335 properties registered in Sisbov, or Eras (Rural Establishment Approved in Sisbov), as they are known. Almost a third of them (30%) are concentrated in Mato Grosso, that is, farms with tracked animals”, says Indea.
