Selling prices of pork Following the increase in procurement prices, pork became more expensive. Meat processing plants sold pork half-carcasses at PLN 11.12/kg, which is 6% more expensive than in the previous week and 2% more than a month ago. At the same time, the price of this assortment was 77% higher than in the comparable week of 2022. Purchase prices of live beef On February 6-12, 2023, domestic suppliers for slaughter cattle obtained PLN 10.79/kg, i.e. 1% more than in a week before. Livestock was more expensive by 0.4% than a month ago and by 12% than a year ago. Selling prices of beef Compensated quarters of beef from bulls up to 2 years old were sold in Poland at PLN 21.23/kg, i.e. PLN 0.13/kg more expensive than in the previous week, but PLN 0.16/kg cheaper than a month ago .
