Higher than in Poland prices for livestock were received by suppliers of e.g. from France by 7%, Germany by 2% and Spain by 3%, and lower - e.g. from Denmark by 23% and the Netherlands by 10%.

In the third week of March 2023, pork half-carcasses were sold at PLN 12.05/kg, i.e. PLN 0.06/kg more expensive than in the previous week and 1% more than a month ago. Compared to the prices received a year ago, half-carcasses became more expensive by 13%. Beef livestock purchase prices Domestic suppliers for slaughter cattle obtained PLN 10.92/kg compared to PLN 10.91/kg in the previous week.
