Mexico and the United Arab Emirates will promote the Mexican date in the Middle East

Mexico City, Oct 18 (EFE).- With the aim of developing research and joint actions in the improvement of the date palm and the promotion of the Mexican fruit in the Middle East, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates signed a memorandum of collaboration, reported this Tuesday the Mexican Government. In a statement, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader) of Mexico and the Khalifa International Prize Foundation for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation of the United Arab Emirates reported the agreement. The text pointed out that the central purpose of this agreement is to strengthen cooperation mechanisms in terms of production and innovation in date palm cultivation and, thereby, promote the quality of the Mexican date.
