Víctor Villalobos Arámbula, head of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader), emphasized the enhancement of public policies to support the berry production chain and expand market access, resulting in a $3.937 billion export value in 2023, a 4% increase from the previous year. Speaking at the 14th Aneberries International Congress, he highlighted Mexico's global leadership in blackberry and strawberry production, with notable contributions from raspberries and blueberries.
