Between January and February of 2024, Peru experienced a significant decrease in raisin exports, dropping to 1,059,296 kilos valued at US$ 1,415,858 from 237,618 kilos worth US$ 296,033 in the same period of 2023. Mexico was the primary market, receiving 46% of the total exports, followed by Ecuador, Algeria, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, and Canada. The report from Agrodata portal highlighted Frutos y Especias SAC, Peppers America SAC, AC Perú Internacional, El Pedregal SA, and Villa Natura Perú SAC as the leading exporters. This marks a notable shift in Peru's raisin export dynamics within a year.
