The Mexican Institute of Pork Production (IMP) is spearheading a national strategy to increase pork consumption in Mexico. Announced at PORCIFORUM 2024 in Guadalajara, the campaign aims to involve the entire production chain and rely on support from public and private entities, academic institutions, and the port. The campaign's main focus is the National Pork Consumption Campaign, with an emphasis on positioning pork as a high-quality, trustworthy food. The initiative has been endorsed by pig farmers' unions and major pork producing companies in the country.
