Alto Pecán Group, the main producer of pecans in Argentina and the Southern Hemisphere, with 1,500 hectares of plantations in the country, has just made the first export of pecans to China, marking a historic milestone for the sector. The good news was shared by the Pecan Cluster, which promotes the international projection of this dried fruit. "The operation is completed following the signing of the sanitary protocol that enabled the export of dried fruits from Argentina to the Chinese market in March of this year, opening new commercial opportunities for the sector," the entity highlighted. This first shipment is a container loaded with 20 tons of Pawnee variety pecans. The cargo is destined for the port of Ningbo, one of the main centers for the entry of food and agricultural products in China.
