This is 19.4% more than a year ago. For January to September 2025, the turnover of the entire Russian dairy market reached 1.82 trillion rubles in monetary terms—19.4% more than a year ago. This follows from the data of a joint study by "SberAnalytics", "Sber Business Soft" and "Chestny Znak" (a marking system operated by the Central Research Institute of the Food Processing Industry). A significant share of dairy sales in retail comes from own brands—they occupy about 14% of total sales volumes. Such products are cheaper—on average 150 rubles per unit of goods, while branded milk costs 160 rubles. Half of all dairy products in the country are sold through "at home" stores. In second place is traditional retail with a share of 17%. This is followed by hypermarkets (10%), supermarkets and hard discounters (8% each), and also the online channel (7%).
