The Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has launched a comprehensive plan to boost the production, distribution, and export of key farmed marine products, including seaweed, oysters, abalone, and flounder. The initiative aims to increase domestic consumption and global exports by strengthening the seaweed aquaculture industry, expanding premium oyster exports, developing diverse processing methods for abalone, and revitalizing the flounder processing industry, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the global market.
