Ukraine is set to experience a significant shift in its grain farming practices, with a notable 28% increase in the cultivation of spring wheat, totaling 222.8 thousand hectares, as reported by ProAgro Group and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. This move is in response to a robust demand from processing firms and export markets. Overall, Ukrainian farmers are set to sow over 5.7 million hectares of spring grains and leguminous crops, mirroring the 2024 figures, indicating a strong reliance on wheat production in the country.
