Rabat – A new weather alert forecasts strong winds, sandstorms, rain, or thunderstorms in addition to snowfall in several provinces from Thursday to Sunday in Morocco. Morocco’s weather authority, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) said today that strong winds between 70 and 80 kilometers per hour (km/h) are expected in the provinces of Errachidia, Midelt, Boulemane, Figuig, Jerada, and Taourit from 10 a.m to 9 p.m. on Thursday. The weather is expected to be accompanied by sandstorms, the weather office added.
