Paraguayan pork exports experienced a positive first eight months of the year, with a 12% increase in volume and a 17% rise in revenue compared to the same period in 2020. The country exported 1,540 tons of pork, generating USD 3.6 million in revenue. Georgia was the main destination, accounting for 54% of the exports. However, pig offal exports saw a decrease both in volume and revenue. Domestic swine giblets experienced a significant surge in exports, with a 257% increase in quantity and a 261% increase in value.
