The Navarra government allocates €120,000 in aid to compensate for milk collection difficulties on high mountain cattle, sheep and goat farms and areas with special difficulties. The particular difficulty involved in collecting milk from these farms, with communication problems, steep slopes, difficult access and, on occasion, adverse weather conditions, makes it necessary to financially compensate the companies that collect milk from the farms, according to points out the Government of Navarra.
