Bukgwangju Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Gu Sang-bong) conducted a voice phishing prevention education session on the 4th at its main office conference room, targeting around 60 farm association presidents and women's association presidents. This education focused on practical prevention methods and response strategies, centered on recent cases of rapidly increasing phone and text message fraud, and particularly new financial scam techniques impersonating card delivery services. During the session, the latest voice phishing types and characteristics were introduced, along with swift response methods for suspicious situations. Special emphasis was placed on the risks of personal information leakage, the importance of mobile device security, and scams impersonating card delivery services.
