Organic beekeepers received over 14 million leva in subsidies.

The State Fund "Agriculture" (SFA) paid over 14 million leva (14,289,726 leva) for Campaign 2025 to 1,212 agricultural producers, candidates for the intervention "Organic Beekeeping." Funding was also received by all candidates for the operation "Payments for Transition to Organic Beekeeping," who, as of 01.12.2025, comply with the requirement of Article 42, paragraph 1 of Regulation 9 of 2023. Eligible for support under the intervention "Organic Beekeeping" are agricultural producers who are registered according to national legislation and have a contract with a controlling body. The rates for the intervention "Organic Beekeeping" are specified in Article 51 of Regulation No. 9 of June 26, 2023, on the conditions and procedures for implementing the interventions "Organic Plant Production" and "Organic Beekeeping," included in the Strategic Plan 2023-2027.
