Maragheh county in Iran's East Azarbaijan province produced 3,370 tons of high-quality honey in the past year, accounting for over 25% of the province's total honey production. The honey from Maragheh is exported to other countries due to its high quality. Overall, Iran produced 136,000 tons of honey, with West Azarbaijan province being the largest contributor, supplying over 22% of the country's annual honey production.
