Russia's wheat and wheat-rye flour exports have increased by almost a third compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 990 thousand tons in the first 10 months of 2023. Iraq was the largest buyer, with over 150 thousand tons of Russian flour shipped to the country. China also increased its purchases of Russian flour by 3.7 times, reaching over 100 thousand tons. Agroexport expects the potential for additional Russian flour exports to be more than 500 thousand tons per year, with Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa being identified as priority markets.
