Over the past three years, oilseed processing capacities have grown by 21% from 28.5 million tons in 2022 to 34.5 million tons by the end of 2025, the Oil and Fat Union of Russia told the journal Pole.RF. "The largest increase was in soybean processing capacities — 2 million tons and in rapeseed/flax — 550 thousand tons per year.
