Turkey: Chili pepper is sweet

In the first 3 months of this year, 2 million 877 thousand dollars of chili pepper was sold to 68 countries from Turkey. According to the information compiled from the data of Southeastern Anatolia Exporters' Association, 10 million 549 thousand dollars of chili pepper was exported from Turkey to 104 countries last year. The amount of chili pepper exports, which was 2 million 527 thousand dollars in the January-March period of last year, increased by 14 percent to 2 million 877 thousand dollars in the same period of this year. In the first quarter of this year, Germany, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, England, Iraq, France, USA, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Canada, People's Republic of China, Oman, Japan, Bulgaria, Ghana, Mozambique, Cuba and Morocco are among them. 1035 tons of chili pepper was sent to 68 countries where it is located.
