In September, Paraná achieved a record in pork exports, sending out 18.6 thousand tons and earning US$ 47.7 million, a 9% increase from the previous year. The state has welcomed new pork importers like the Philippines and the Dominican Republic, with Vietnam being the largest buyer. Meanwhile, Brazilian chicken meat exports experienced a slight decrease, but Paraná's efforts yielded positive results. The state also saw growth in honey exports and benefited cassava producers due to product appreciation and recent rains. The summer harvest of soybeans and corn is progressing favorably, with high expectations for crop productivity.
