Parbat district has experienced a significant increase in orange production by around 25 percent in this fiscal year compared to the previous one, reaching a total of 5,000 metric tonnes from 830 hectares of land. Of this production, 4,250 metric tonnes were exported, generating revenue of Rs 297 million. This is a notable increase from the previous fiscal year's production of 4,000 metric tonnes from 450 hectares. The favorable weather conditions have contributed to this surge in production, with oranges being sold in various cities including Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Butwal.
