Participants in spot grain trading protested its delivery using the Smartseeds platform.

In January, the first deliveries of grain by road transport were completed following transactions concluded at the National Commodity Exchange (NCE). Part of the deliveries was carried out with the participation of the Smartseeds digital logistics platform (a part of "Demetera Holding"). The trading participants, the logistics platform, and the exchange infrastructure tested the transportation procedures, which were fully in accordance with the terms of the exchange contracts: from fixing the price of transportation to confirming the actual delivery using electronic document flow, according to a joint press release from the company and the NCE. To make exchange instruments more understandable and accessible for small and medium-sized agricultural producers, a tariff for standard road transport (only for the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, as well as the Rostov Region) is published weekly on the NCE website.
