Farmers in Burikan Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency, Central Java, are actively planting soybeans in a partnership with PT. Java Agro Prima, with a goal of producing 100 tons. Despite fluctuations in seed prices and challenges like COVID-19 and drought, their determination remains unwavering. The partnership, which started in 2020, has seen an increase in production from 8 tons to 55.5 tons this year. The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, has emphasized the importance of maintaining sufficient soybean supply for the community, especially as Indonesia relies heavily on imports and there are fears of losing domestic sources.
