Passion fruit exports with better projections for 2025

Passion fruit exports between January and June of 2025 totaled $40,012,000, reflecting a 36% growth compared to the same period last year ($29,411,000), which would indicate a recovery in shipments of this product, as in 2024 (January-December) a contraction of -10.7% was recorded, reported the Agroexport Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX). The most important destination was the Netherlands ($16,608,000), with a 41.5% share and an increase in orders of 32.4%. This country is the gateway to Europe for many non-traditional Peruvian products. Following were the USA ($8,131,000), France ($4,263,000), Chile ($3,839,000), Puerto Rico ($1,097,000), and Italy ($1,003,000), with positive variations of 39.1%, 65.8%, 67.1%, 58.5%, and 60.3%, respectively.
