The Pengadegan Farmers Group, located in South Jakarta, has been growing organic and hydroponic crops and fruits on their properties to address the economic challenges faced by low-income families due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting public activity restrictions. Initiated by PT PLN Batubara and Human Initiative in 2020, the group has had eight harvest cycles, producing a variety of crops and fruits which are sold to the local community at affordable prices. The project aims to enhance food security and support members' household economies.
