As of March 16, 2025, global pepper prices remained stable with slight increases in the prices of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia and Muntok white pepper, and a decrease in the export price of black pepper in Vietnam. The domestic pepper price in Vietnam, however, saw a significant drop of VND1,500 - 2,000, trading around 157,500 - 159,000 VND/kg. In 2024, Vietnam's pepper exports are projected to reach 1.32 billion USD with an output of 200,000 tons, and in 2025, they could potentially hit 1.5 billion USD due to the country's dominant global market share.
