This is reflected in the fact that Chile has established itself as the second-largest consumer of Hass avocados in the world, surpassed only by Mexico, whose per capita consumption is 10.3 kilos per year. Figures compiled by the Chilean Avocado Committee reveal that in 2024, annual per capita avocado consumption was 8.6 kilos. This figure is higher than the 8.2 kilos consumed in 2023.
