Peru finalizes its first shipment of turkey to Panama

(Agraria.pe) The National Service of Agricultural Health (Senasa), announced that Peru has reached a new milestone in the diversification of its agricultural exports by completing the first shipment of marinated turkey to the Republic of Panama, a strategic market with more than 4 million consumers. The operation comprised a shipment of 25 tons produced in Chincha, Ica region, and verified by Senasa in strict application of international sanitary protocols. This advancement represents a firm step in the reopening and expansion of Peruvian poultry trade, made possible thanks to the commitment of the national sector to maintain high standards of food safety and animal health, fundamental conditions to regain the confidence of international markets.
